Seniors 2011
It has been a whirlwind year and it is not over yet! One of the biggest factors in deciding to open a studio were my senior clients. Last year I photographed 50 seniors. That was double from the year before. I could not handle the traffic through my home and I'll admit...either could my family. So this year I knew it was going to be another busy year and maybe even busier since I had an actual studio space outside the home. As I wind down on my senior season I thought it would be fun for a recap of some of my favorite sessions. Now I am unable to post everyone's picture but at least you get and idea of the fun I have had!!

Best of 2009- Seniors
I promised myself in 2008 that I would double my senior sessions in 2009. I did it!!! Woohoo for 50 senior sessions! Here are just 4 of my faves. Three very fun females and one all american guy! Thanks for a great season!

Peak of the Season

I really logged on thinking I had just updated my blog a few days ago. WOW I was way off...2 weeks off! The peak of the holiday season has come and gone. I spent 18 hours last weekend in holiday/fall sessions. Now things will calm down a little and sessions will gradually decrease by Christmas. Once the new year comes I will only offer sessions and consultations Saturday and Sunday from January to March. This will allow me much needed time in the thinking chair to prepare for new projects and a little restructure.
Enough of me...here is Blake a 2010 senior! What a blast we had on his family farm and around his kneck of the woods.

Keeping busy
My little Brody at 5 weeks

I am really enjoying this summer with my packed senior sessions schedule. I finally photographed my first 2010 senior male. If you ever visit the senior site you will notice I feature more females than males. So I was happy to meet E and have the opportunity to expand on the male senior portraits.
Then the following day was C and we spent our session traveling to several locations. One that included a few shots with this very cool orange car.
Looking forward to more of these senior sessions every week!
My little Brody is 5 weeks old!
